Retired Florida Supreme Court Justice Major B. Harding will be the Keynote Speaker for the annual spring banquet of the Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Northeast Florida (PBKAA) to be held on April 18, 2013.
Justice Harding's topic will be: "Living Right Side Up In An Upside Down World."

ABOUT JUSTICE MAJOR HARDING
Governor Lawton Chiles appointed Justice Major B. Harding to the Florida Supreme Court on January 22, 1991. He became Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court in July 1998 and served in this capacity through June 2000.
Justice Harding received his Bachelor of Science degree and Bachelor of Laws degree from Wake Forest University in 1957 and 1959, respectively.

In 1995, he attained his Masters of Laws in Judicial Process at the University of Virginia School of Law. Additionally, Justice Harding received his Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Stetson University in 1991 and from Florida Coastal School of Law in 1999.
